OOC Rules
On TPUYS, we have a red rule, purple rule, and blue rule policy. You will receive two strikes for a blue rule, three for a purple rule, and automatically be banned for a red rule. Any other rule will result in one strike.
Strikes do disappear over time, but we will ban if we see fit.
1. Unnecessary rudeness to other members is unacceptable. Though there will be times where you may be annoyed with one another, it is not an excuse to treat others unkindly. If you are struggling to handle another members behavior, please inform an admin or moderator and they will take care of the situation.
2. There will be minors on this site. Though we allow swearing; slurs, sexual, and hateful speech are not accepted here on TPUYS. This includes violence against LGBT+. We do allow LGBT+ characters, and if you have a problem with that, the log out button is at the top right. Using slurs or violence against the LGBT+ community is an automatic ban.
3. That being said, finding any way around our filters will also result in an automatic three strikes. If our filters cover up what you were trying to say, which are all slurs, we will give you a warning. If we see our filter pop up again in the shoutbox, even if the word is filtered, we will ban you.
4. Any NSFW content, be it violently or sexually graphic, will result in an automatic three strikes. Again, we bring up the fact that the majority of members on this website will be minors. We don't care about how hot someone's dick is, we don't want to see it. We also don't want to see any graphic depictions of a person or animal- this includes things such as gore or body horror.
5. This is a roleplay site, fun for everyone. Keep your politics and religious beliefs out of it. This rule is also double coded. Warriors and roleplay is an escape from reality and gives many of us mental health breaks. Please keep it this way and don't cause any users stress. If a user is found sparking debates about religion and politics in the shoutbox or on a board, they will receive one warning. If that same users tries to spark a debate again, they will be banned.
6. Don't advertise outside of the provided section.
7. We try to ask that you do not use our shoutbox to sulk and whine, by saying things like "I think I'm leaving because: nobody likes me, I'm not good at roleplaying, etc." We are not your caretakers. If you have a problem, like anything genuinely upsetting you such as troubles at home, depressing thoughts - we care, but please take it elsewhere. If you have a friend here online, PM them. If not, try to find some venting websites or calming games. Try to relax.
8. Do not argue with the moderators and up. If you get a warning for something, and you think there was a misunderstanding, or you were served an injustice, politely PM the moderator who gave you the warning, and only the moderator who gave you the warning, and explain the situation. If we see that, oh! You did nothing wrong! We will let you off the hook. However, if we point out and highlight what you did wrong very clearly - accept it.
9. Don't ask for your friend to be unbanned. That's just childish.
10. We ask that our users be over 14 and under 25. For maturity reasons, as well as the comfort of our minors, we would like for our users to be over 14, however, under 25. If we feel like you are under 14, we will ask that you be honest and tell us the truth.
11. Lastly, we ask that you do not double post anywhere outside of the Gallery and the Bookshelf. Please do not bump threads; we like having everything nice and clean (:
