RP Rules
On TPUYS, we have a red rule, purple rule, and blue rule policy. You will receive two strikes for a blue rule, three for a purple rule, and automatically be banned for a red rule. Any other rule will result in one strike.
Strikes do disappear over time, but we will ban if we see fit.
1. Like in the OOC rules, NSFW content is prohibited. Any mating scenes, or even rape, is not allowed on TPUYS. This is a double-coded rule, meaning that any found mating scenes will result in three strikes, however, any rape or forced mating will result in ban.
2. Including pornographic scenes, excessively gory scenes are not allowed. We also will not allow particularly graphic injuries like a missing leg, or the process of a limb being removed. You can have a character with a missing tail or missing eye, and those changes may occur during your characters life, but we request that these scenes be blacked out for the comfort of our users.
2. LGBT+ cats are accepted both in and outside of roleplay. There will be no queerphobic characters on TPUYS.
3. Also in the OOC rules, please do not double post. If something like a timeskip is required, please go back and edit the post (:
4. Godmodding/powerplaying is not acceptable. Unless a user has given permission for you to kill/brutally injure their cat in one post, do not powerplay!
5. Everything should be kept realistic. No cats should be pink with orange spots or have purple eyes.
6. Any incorrect roleplaying of mental illnesses found in characters is extremely offensive and result in severe warning. We encourage any person without a mental illness NOT to make severely mentally ill characters.
7. Disabilities and such are required to be purchased from the shop, as well as purebreds. PUREBREDS MUST BE PURCHASED FROM THE STORE AND CAN NOT BE A USER'S FIRST CAT. See the shop if you need to know what you have to buy!
8. All posts must have at least 50 words. There are some loopholes thanks to templates, but we really do ask that you have at least 50 words in your roleplaying post. We don't think this is a lot, considering other websites have word limits up to at least 200, so please try to push yourself (:
9. You cannot roleplay more than two high ranked characters at a time. You also cannot roleplay two of the same high ranks. For example, if you have a leader and a deputy, you cannot eventually have a leader and another leader.
10. Calico or tortoiseshell toms, sadly, are not allowed on TPUYS. We understand that they are possible, however, we have decided that the occurrence is too unlikely for the wild. The only exception around this is having a transgender calico or tortoiseshell.
11. One prefix per Clan. There cannot be two Frost- or two Ash- in one Clan. Forum wide, no full name may be shared by two different cats. However, as long as the cats are in a different Clan, a prefix can be shared. We prefer you to be original though!
